This one-day event offers insights into current developments, innovative technologies and topics of practical relevance.
To kick things off, we can look forward to an exciting presentation by Prof. Dr. Dr. Kunkel. He will report on his more than 30 years of clinical experience with difficult diagnoses and shed light on the causes of discrepancies between findings and symptoms.
PD Dr. Paul Weigl will then talk about the new OmniTaper EV implant system. The advantages of the new system will be demonstrated, particularly in connection with prosthetic restorations.
Later in the morning, Prof. Dr. Dr. Eufinger will present the proven Recklinghausen treatment concept for treating 300 dysgnathia patients per year. He will explain both the planning and the practical aspects of this treatment method, in which the geometric dimensions of all three spatial planes must be taken into account. Important aspects such as airways, lip closure and swallowing patterns as well as cooperation with other specialties, in particular general dentists and orthodontists, are also highlighted.
Finally, Dr. Felix von Scotti, a specialist in ear, nose and throat medicine from the Münsterland ENT Centre, will provide information on the diagnosis and treatment of rhinosinusitis. He will give us an insight into the various therapy options depending on the severity of the symptoms and the underlying cause.
